Extrema Ratio Sethlans Stone Washed - Fixed Blade Work Knife for Survival and More

The Extrema Ratio Sethlans is a fixed blade work knife designed to tackle a wide range of situations. It is suitable for survival, bushcraft, prepping, and can also serve as a backup blade.

The Sethlans was developed in collaboration with Daniele Dal Canto, Master Advanced Instructor of the Italian Federation of Survival Sport and Experimentation (F.I.S.S.S.).

The Sethlans is available in two versions with two different steel types.

The Stone Washed version features heat-treated Böhler N690 steel at 58 HRC. This steel was chosen for its proven reliability over the past 20 years, thanks to its resistance to oxidation and edge durability.

The Black version utilizes D2 steel, heat-treated and cryogenically treated at 60 HRC. It offers high re-sharpening capability even with improvised tools. To enhance hardness and resistance, the blade is coated with the new "EXP DARK" Teflon-based product by Extrema Ratio.

The knife comes with G10 handle scales, featuring the characteristic ergonomic design of Extrema Ratio handles. The scales can be removed to reveal the skeletonized structure of the knife, providing maximum lightweight performance with minimal thickness. For those who seek extreme customization, the full-tang construction allows for handle wrapping with paracord.

The sheath consists of a lightweight and minimalist Kydex part. It is detachable and can be adjusted for both left and right-handed users. The addition of an optional belt clip enables vertical or horizontal carry and significantly enhances the sheath's versatility compared to the fabric version. It also includes a mini pouch with M.O.L.L.E. system, containing a dual-sided sharpening stone and a Firesteel for fire ignition.
