This knife has been designed and perfected in every detail for its primary use in naval environments. The blade features a flat grind that allows for symmetric cuts with a broader support. The thick and durable tanto version of the tip provides greater penetration and a sharper, more precise cut. The stone-washed finishing process facilitates localization in marine environments.
The handle structure, made of anodized anticorodal aluminum, has a design with concentric circle milling and lightening and non-slip perforations, promoting easy rinsing from saltwater. In the central part of the handle, there is a small hole for securing or releasing small-sized shackles. The BF2 V is equipped with a reversible clip, a screw lock for adjusting the opening and closing of the blade, a 70 mm knot loosening ankle with a fastening mechanism, and a lanyard hole. The BF2 V was presented on the Amerigo Vespucci Training Ship.
