Three lightweight shims designed to be placed between piston head and piston to alter the angle of engagement (AOE) between the piston’s first tooth and the sector gear’s first tooth. Inserting the shim produces a slight piston setback and reduces engagement angle — useful to improve cycling reliability or tune non-standard AOE configurations. When moving from a standard AOE (e.g. Marui) to a non-standard one, consider also modifying the piston teeth; seek a technician’s help if inexperienced.
