The VFC AV74M GBBR in Black represents the most precise and detailed gas blowback replica of the iconic AK-74M design available on the airsoft market. Built with full steel construction, realistic surface treatment, and authentic markings, this replica captures every structural detail of the original firearm and allows direct installation of various real-steel AK parts and accessories.

Internally, the rifle features an integrated full CNC steel bolt carrier with a simulated long-stroke gas piston and an oversized 22 mm propulsion cylinder that delivers an exceptionally hard-knocking recoil impulse. The entire fire control group is made of heavy-duty steel, featuring a braided wire hammer spring and a dummy rate-of-fire reducer for maximum realism. A standout feature is the adjustable bolt stroke system, allowing operators to switch between a long stroke setting for maximum recoil realism and a short stroke setting (using the included bolt buffer) for an increased rate of fire during intense combat scenarios.

Accuracy is handled by the Eazy HOP system, which allows quick dial adjustments by pulling back the bolt carrier and is fully compatible with industry-standard VSR10 barrels and buckings. The receiver includes a Warsaw Pact specification side rail for mounting period-accurate optics like the PSO-1 or NSPU. Feeding the system is a lightweight aluminum alloy 42-round magazine weighing only 388g, equipped with a massive 107cc gas reservoir, last-round bolt stop feature, and dry-fire capability.
