Prior to use, soak the pad in clean water for 1 to 2 minutes, gently wring out excess water, and place it into the hat’s inner pocket. It can be used with or without the air/pac insert to create a standoff that prevents direct contact with the head, delivering prolonged cooling comfort. Do not tamper with the pad in any way that compromises its structure or cooling function. Before use, soak the pad in clean water for 1 to 2 minutes and gently squeeze out excess water. Store dry when not in use and avoid prolonged exposure to extreme heat or direct sunlight which may degrade the material. Keep out of reach of children.
Do not leave the pad in prolonged direct contact with skin if irritation occurs; discontinue use and seek medical advice if necessary. Clean with clean water and air dry in the shade; do not use aggressive detergents or solvents. If the pad tears or loses integrity, dispose of and replace it; do not attempt repairs that could reduce effectiveness.
