Saracca Romagnola by Giovanni “Nino” Nista: total length 25 cm, 12 cm AISI 420 MA5M blade, bovine horn handle, external spring with lock. Handmade in Italy.
The Saracca Romagnola faithfully revives a rural Italian folding knife: slim, fish-shaped profile, external spring with the distinctive “riccio” lever-release and proportions designed for everyday use. Each knife is forged and finished in Giovanni Nista’s workshop — careful material selection, in-house machining, controlled heat treatment and hand finishing. Blade in AISI 420 MA5M offers a balanced combination of hardness, flexibility and easy re-sharpening; handle crafted from the tip of bovine horn, polished by hand.
