The BLUEPOWER piston head is CNC made in DELRIN on specific measurements by TopMax Elaborazioni. The DELRIN structure makes this piston head reliable, long-lasting and incredibly suitable for any type of configuration. The BLUEPOWER piston head is made with axial-internal anti-vacuum holes and radial outlet holes, which allow for better distribution of the air on the sealing O-RING, speeding up its expansion in the compression phase. Compared to the REDPOWER piston head, in the BLUEPOWER the size and position of the radial holes is further different to obtain greater aggressiveness in the compression phase of the O-RING while maintaining stability, constancy and precision in the shot.
The shape of the front part of the BLUEPOWER piston head has been studied to further reduce the stress due to the impact with the cylinder head PAD also at R.O.F. elevated. The BLUEPOWER head does not have the double sealing/centering O-RING, but has a small recess which decreases the contact surface with the inside of the cylinder, to reduce friction to a minimum. The total height of the TopMax piston head is standardized to the dimensions of the other piston heads on the market. The ERGAL and DELRIN insert for fixing the piston head on the piston is slightly shorter than the standard market size, in order to use the TopMax piston head on any piston on the market.
The BLUEPOWER piston head has a narrower compression chamber than that of the REDPOWER to have a faster O-RING opening time in compression and to guarantee full compression of the cylinder's air volume almost instantaneously as soon as the O -RING surpasses cylinder milling. In terms of air tightness and compression speed, the BLUEPOWER head is one of the best performing piston heads on the market.
Can be used on any configuration, from low-R.O.F. at high-R.O.F., however we recommend the use of the BLUEPOWER head on high-R.O.F. configurations. with medium short internal barrels, in order to take advantage of the anticipated compression deriving from the position of the anti-vacuum holes. The STRESS-TESTS carried out on the BLUEPOWER piston head were performed with higher springs than those required by law, so the product will guarantee reliability and performance even with more stringent configurations. To obtain maximum performance, we recommend the combination with the TopMax piston and cylinder head.
