The Theta Optics Rugged D2 Tan is a compact red dot sight designed for fast target acquisition, immediate visibility, and a tougher build than typical entry level open sights. Theta Optics created the RUGGED line to deliver improved durability, with a 6061 T6 aluminum body, Type III hard anodizing, and a setup suitable for intensive use on airsoft replicas and platforms equipped with RIS or Picatinny rails.

The 2 MOA dot, 1x magnification, and 21 mm lens make this model quick and intuitive to use, with parallax under 2 MOA and infinite eye relief for a natural aiming picture. The 8 brightness levels plus 4 NVG modes allow the dot to adapt to different environments, while the anti reflective, anti fog, and scratch resistant coating helps keep the sight picture clear in changing conditions.
