The Piexon JPX4 Compact is the latest advancement in the field of pepper spray personal defense. This compact version retains the dimensions of a semi-automatic pistol, offering powerful deterrence without lethality, making it ideal for individuals who want to protect themselves safely. The JPX4 Jet Defender Compact is legally available for sale and free carrying in Italy, in accordance with the Decree of May 12, 2011, No. 103 from the Ministry of the Interior. Sales are restricted to those aged 16 and above.
Equipped with four ready-to-use shots and a patented technology ensuring accuracy and reliability, the JPX4 Compact can incapacitate an attacker at a distance of 3 meters with an exit speed of 290 km/h at 1.5 meters. This device is ambidextrous, rechargeable, and built for maximum safety in both indoor and outdoor environments. The Italian version comes complete with a magazine containing 4 doses of PIEXOL® irritant gel, a dense mixture based on Oleoresin Capsicum, effective and potent with a maximum capsaicin concentration of 2.4%, measured at 400,000 SHU on the Scoville scale.
The PIEXOL® gel penetrates mucous membranes without being stopped by glasses, masks, or clothing, causing intense but temporary symptoms lasting 45 to 60 minutes, such as burning eyes, breathing difficulties, heavy tearing, and involuntary eye closure. These effects, while strong, do not cause permanent damage. An additional advantage is the red coloring left on the attacker's skin, which facilitates identification by law enforcement.
