Extrema ratio sethlans stone washed
“EXTREMA RATIO SETHLANS” is a fixed blade work knife born to face a wide range of situations, suitable for survival, bushcraft, prepping, but also as a backup blade.
The Extrema Ratio Misericordia Desert knife pays homage to the renowned Misericordia model adopted by the 4th Regiment Alpini Paratroopers. Created on the occasion of the 140th anniversary of the 4th Regiment Alpini and the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Alpini Paratroopers, this version is a tactical fixed-blade knife designed for situations where lightness and compactness are essential.
The blade of this knife is milled from Böhler N690 steel, hardened to 58 HRC for an optimal balance between edge retention and robustness. It has a length of 118 mm, a thickness of 4 mm, and features a flat grind. Despite its power, the knife weighs only 87 grams. The blade profile is a spear point with a full-length swedge that makes it even lighter and a ¾-length false edge. The finish is stone washed.
The polymer handle of the knife features the classic Extrema Ratio scallops, ensuring a secure grip. It is fixed to the tang with a pass-through screw. The back of the handle extends into a wide ring with a 'skull crusher' extension, allowing martial arts techniques and providing a solid grip. In this version, the handle comes in the Desert color.
To ensure ease of carry and accessibility, the knife is secured to the sheath with a quick-release lock, which can be easily reversed for left-handed use. The sheath, made of high-strength Nylon, is also in the Desert color and is equipped with two adjustable loops for attachment to M.O.L.L.E. systems, facilitating quick extraction in various tactical scenarios. An optional Kydex sheath is also available, separately purchasable, featuring two Velcro strips for concealed carry between a bulletproof vest and magazine pouch. This sheath also offers the possibility of belt attachment using a Belt Clip, which can be purchased separately.Technical Specifications
